Rachel Clare has been cooking since before she can remember. Her grandmother tells her a story of when she was 3 or 4 years old. Her grandmother came into the kitchen with Rachel’s older sister. Rachel was wearing over mitts and holding a tray of cups cakes, freshly out of the oven. She looked at her sister and said “you can’t have any until I ice them!” Rachel has had a passion for cooking ever since.
Rachel Clare went on to do 3-Unit Food Technology for her HSC and completed an Applied Science degree in Food and Nutrition while working part-time in the test kitchens of Australian Good Taste magazine. She has travelled the world extensively, working as a chef in New Zealand and Australia and due to her particular interest in South-East Asian cuisine, has done food tours of both Vietnam and Thailand.
Rachel has been catering for over 10 years and teaching classes for 2 years.
Rachel has plans to open a Vegan and Vegetarian outlet in the not too distant future and will also be publishing a cookbook soon.
